Dr. Cathryn Vadala is a distinguished hand surgeon renowned for her expertise, compassion and commitment to excellence in patient care. With over ten years of experience in the field, Dr. Vadala has dedicated her career to helping individuals regain function and alleviate pain in their hands, wrists and upper extremities.
After completing her medical degree at The University of Arkansas, Dr. Vadala pursued advanced training at The University of Minnesota, specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. Her passion for precision and attention to detail led her to further specialize in microsurgery techniques, allowing her to perform intricate procedures that are less invasive and allow for a quicker recovery time for her patients.
Throughout her career, Dr. Vadala has remained at the forefront of advancements in hand surgery, continually refining her techniques and embracing innovative approaches to patient care. She is known for her comprehensive approach, taking the time to thoroughly evaluate each patient's unique needs and tailor treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Vadala's dedication to her patients extends beyond the operating room. When not working she enjoys travelling the state of Washington in her Airstream with her two Weimeraners, Cooking, Art and Music.

Jullie Taggares, OTR/L
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Julie is a previous midwest gal where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. Upon receiving her degree, she moved to Tri-Cities, WA to start her career as an Occupational Therapist.
She moved to AZ for 4 years where she worked in several settings but eventually made her way back to the Tri-Cities Washington area. She has a background working in inpatient/outpatient rehab, outpatient lymphedema, and post cancer care before pivoting completely to hand and upper extremity therapy.
Julie understands the health of your upper extremity is essential. The upper extremity is involved in every aspect of your life and she knows how life-changing it can be to lose the function and mobility of your hands. Julie will be your partner in your journey back to health and enjoying the activities you love!
When Julie is not working, she is busy doing what she loves the most, being a mom! She loves being her kids biggest fan in all their activities. Most weekends you will find her on a field or in a gym cheering on her kids! Julie also enjoys running, working out, spending time with family, friends and her two pups!

Trisha Herrmann. NCMA
OFFICE MANAGER AND LEAD MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Trisha has been a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant since 2011. She has been Dr. Vadala’s lead Medical Assistant since 2019, helping with the various needs of her patients. As the office manager of The Hand Clinic she is excited to be able to grow, continue serving her patients and making The Hand Clinic of Tri Cities the best orthopedic clinic in Eastern Washington.
Orthopedics is a very rewarding specialty. We get to help patients after an injury or in pain get back to their daily lives and the things they enjoy doing. She loves being there every step of the way in the healing process to see the growth these patients make and the relationships we can build in our community.
Trisha has taken two courses to become a master cast technician to further her knowledge in casting, splinting and bracing. This allows for the patients to have more comfort and appropriate treatment post injuries during healing.
Trisha is a mother of 4 who enjoys watching her children’s sporting events and making memories with them that will last a life time. She enjoys Tri-Cities and all the activities it has to offer for her and her family, especially river fun.

Kayla Campbell, CMA
CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Kayla is a Certified Medical Assistant with nine years of experience in the health care field. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support for all of her patients.
Kayla is a proud mom of two active boys who are passionate about sports and she enjoys supporting them in their athletic pursuits. She cherishes spending time outdoors with her family, creating lasting memories and spending quality time together.

Amanda Jacobs, CMA
CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Amanda is a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant since 2007 with most experience in multi-specialty practices in Pain Management and Orthopedics in the healthcare field. Her biggest goal is to have patients feel welcomed and leave feeling seen and heard.
Amanda is the mother of 4, who has children in sports and is a staple at their sporting events. Her oldest is in the running start program and couldn’t be more proud! She enjoys camping, hunting and fishing and being present in people’s lives.
